Tiernan O’Halloran
- What is your favorite sporting memory?
- Who or what is your biggest inspiration?
- Do you have any pre-game rituals that you like to perform or any lucky items you like to keep with you before a big game?
- If you were to offer one piece of advice to a young girl or boy to help them achieve their
dreams, what would it be? - If you weren’t a rugby player, what would you choose to work at?
Bundi Aki: “Winning Super Rugby and the Rainfurly Shield for the first time in 50 years are up there but winning the PRO12 was the best one by far!”
Jack Carty: “Winning Pro12 and winning kick against Wasps”
Tiernan O’Halloran: “Winning the Pro12 final last season in Edinburgh”
Bundi Aki: “My Saviour Lord Jesus and my family”
Jack Carty: “Kobe Bryant”
Tiernan O’Halloran: “Would have to be my dad. He comes from a big sporting background so he has always been there to support and encourage me”
Bundi Aki: “I tend to sing out loud when I’m in the changing room before going onto the field”
Jack Carty: “None really, clean my bedroom and nap”
Tiernan O’Halloran: “Nothing really, just mainly try to stay calm leading up to kick off so I listen to music and get a massage about 40 minutes before”
Bundi Aki: “HARD WORK will ALWAYS beat TALENT”
Jack Carty: “Believing in yourself and hard work always beats ability”
Tiernan O’Halloran: “Not to give up on your dreams. You will have setbacks along the way but if you put your mind to it you can overcome them and achieve your goals!”
Bundi Aki: “I would have loved to be an NFL player”
Jack Carty: “If I wasn’t a rugby player, I would probably pursue a career in the food industry or work in finance”
Tiernan O’Halloran: “Would love to say a pro golfer but realistically I’d love to do coaching or helping out younger sports people”
